I apologize for not providing a recent update. I’ve just been very overwhelmed since going back to work and beginning to address everything that was put on hold as well as everything that has since been added. Before all of this happened, life was very “full” [t0 put it mildly] in many ways and quite honestly, it was often times overwhelming already. It was, however, manageable as God made it known continuously that He equips me to do that which He has called me to do. That theme has not changed, as God does not change, but as you might imagine, there is quite a bit more added at the moment and it will take some time for things to “normalize.”

Nevertheless, God is good. All the time. We truly believe this [not only in faith] but also because we have learned it experientially by walking with Him.

Now for the update:

Emma is scheduled for discharge this evening. We have looked forward to this day in eager anticipation, and we are so thankful that it is finally here. It has been extremely difficult on all of us (especially Josiah) in these last days. We are ready to be at home together.

The rest remains the same — Emma is doing great and continues to progress daily. All the prayer requests regarding her brain remain as well.
